spent half the day watching what is prolly the most brainless, shallow and superficial (did i mention brainless?) show on earth.
Vanity Lair. hey the name kinda has a nice ring to it.
had no idea such a show existed til YongYing and i decided to watch it for fun today while we were waiting for soonyi, qi and koks at her place. hilarousityy :D
Jonny Cope is delish :D he's the winner. he's not conventionally hot, more like scruffy haired and gorgeous-eyed and charming.

there was this guy, zac efron lookalike!!
personality like him too. he was on the verge of crying when told he had to have his hair pushed up with a hairband for a photoshoot. and started complaining and whining about how he loved his hair and it was really important to him and a load of crap.
and when he found out he was deemed "least attractive" in the house, he dramatically left the dinner table and threw up.
damn bimbotic!!!!
but highly amusing x)

when the divas finally arrived, we got started on The Matrix. i'd never seen that show before and was lost at first. but then it got really interesting and funny too x)
especially with koks and qi beside you to make ridiculous comments.
when there was a dramatic fight scene goin on at a deserted train station(home to a sleeping homeless man), koks vented out his sympathy for the hobo.
"the poor old man! sleeping there and then they come and fight."
yea people usually concentrate on the fighting going on but not koks, he concentrates on sleeping old men cos he's Kokinna!:D
soonyi really loved the names in the show.
"i'm gonna name my kids Trinity and Morpheus!"

i don't preach, but the real meaning about Christmas has got so lost due to it being so commercialised these days! seriously, i look at all the malls' Christmas decos and it's so disgusting. like ou for example. the "snow" is grey! it looks like huge dustballs on the stage -___-
Christmas is a day to commemorate and celebrate Jesus. i'm not entirely sure whether it's really Jesus' birthday, cos that's been debated over the years.
so yeah. go on and celebrate, people! you've got an extremely good reason to:)

this morning was sooo stupid..i felt so unbelievably dumb!:(
i thought church started at ten, so i set my alarm for 9.15.
and then Edmund calls me at 9am asking where i am and i'm like NOOOOOOOO i overslept for church.
on christmas morning!! who does that?!!
shortly after, my phone died, which explains why i didn't get jouee's calls.
i'm sorry! and i really wanted to go, too.
ahh well it's still Christmas :D

and Cuzario asked me to be in his show!! Track Of Talents. omg yay?! new season starts feb'09. bummer, again. still considering it...i'm really interested! just need to pile on the confidence first though..

this past week, oh wait it's already monday. okay since last tuesday i've been going out everyday, not having time for myself. yes i am that kinda person who needs her own time once in a while. pref everyday, if possible actually. but it's the holidays, and everyone wants to go out right? the fact that everyone wants to go out with me is the main problem..sighh i can't help it.
okay i was just kidding. not. okay kidding la x)

why do people apologise? do they say it just to clear the air, cos they're scared of arguments or confrontation, or cos they're really sorry? or cos they're guilty? there're so many reasons that people apologise for other than the fact that they're really sorry. which half the time is not true anyway.

so a short recap of my week, just in case i accidentally bang my head real hard on something somehow in the future and forget my life, i can read this blog to further add confusion as to who i am (i'm a very indecisive person).
so tuesday. hmmm. i can't really remember what i did, this memory loss is happening sooner than i expected...
wednesday was yinky's sweet sixteen party at Tropicana. Lea and i went shopping in ou before that. i think we bumped into a gazillion shillion people that day. and it was a wednesday! not as predictably uneventful as tuesdays are.

Yinkz's party was fun. i got pushed into the pool 245968 times. failed to push Julian in about the same amount of times. ah wong is just so...not heavy. well he doesnt look heavy does he? damn skinny right! hahaha looks can be deceiving.
i even got pushed into the pool when i was eating cake -__- how unfortunate.
Yinky: "omg asheee there's cake in the pool!CAKE IN THE POOL!!"
yes i know sweetie, sorry i had no time to react and gracefully toss the cake aside while i let myself succumb to gravity and fall into the pool!

Thursday, watched The Day the Earth Stood Still with YongYing, JouEe, Qi, Koks, and Chuen. not bad in the epic sense la i guess. and Keanu Reeve's FACE. and his movements. hahahhaha hilarious!! Yongs and i were choking with laughter during the hospital bed scene. we dragged the guys shoe shopping and they were just sitting there in one corner of the shop. i pitied them :)

Friday...one helluva day!had to go renew passports..me, my bro and mom. so we went to the centre in Damansara Heights, and my dad forgot his real ic and my mom never renewed her old ic to get a MyKad. so me and my bro couldn't get our passports renewed cos we're underage, and needed a parent's ic. ahem ahem. the lady said we could jsut use our mom's, since my dad didn't need to renew his passport anyway. so my mom went to the MyKad place downstairs, and we were thinking, oh, how convenient!
but nooo, the computer system was down! how inefficient.
so we had to go ALL the way to Old Town to the other MyKad office, but my mom's thumbprint wasn't clear enough cos her skin was too dry from dermatitis or something that makes your hands dry. and she left one of the required documents at home. so we had to home. and then to freaking Shah Alam to get some endorsement that confirms her thumbprint. and then back to Old Town.
FROM 8AM TO 2PM.
could've driven to Singapore and back already!! and then we waited til 5 for our passports to be done. that night i slept at 7something -_____-

i got baptised on Sat :) thanks qi, huaj, and koks for coming!

went out with Danni, Shall, Carol and Derek on Sunday. watched Yes Man and it was funnayy! had this really awesome apple pie at Delicious, and dinner at Sushi Zianmai. our waitress loved us. she showed us her mean face the whole time.

okay i'm lazy to blog more cos i'm sleepy.

i'm back from church camp! and it was a freaking awesome 4days there!
IT WAS SO MUCH FUN.
hahahahahaha you never thought i'd say this right? i had fun--no, i loved camp.
now i wanna go back!
it was at an NS campsite in Pahang..and it was gorgeous! as you can see from the pic above :D
literally from the moment i stepped in i was like "omgosh this place is so beautiful! etc etc."
Qi and HuaJ compared that to " bagai rusa masuk kampung". which is really inaccurate, as that place was so not kampung-like :)

it was like...50 feet high? i dont know it seem really really high. iswear it's higher than you think. you feel like you're the same level as the mountain peaks!
climbing up the stairs was even scarier than the real thing cos you can see the ground beneath you. Maybelle and i were freaking out even more and hugging before it was our turn. quite hilarious now when i think of it x)
i was hesitating and hyperventilating so much but went i went, it was so awesome!

so so fun!!! again, me and my kayak partner, Stephanie, were screaming even before Leroy pushed our boat into the water.
eh we had this terrible fear of ourkayak overturning kay!
you would too, if you'd seen the water in the lake x)
we couldnt get the kayak turning properly, so the ns trainer guy in the kayak beside us had to give us a push with his oars, and accidentally hit my arm. there's a very nice bruise there now. great souveneir.
but my arms got a good workout from paddling, is all i can say.

overall..had a really great time, and wicked fun besides that :D
am really not up to typing a lot now, so the pictures will shout!

on the 2nd night of camp, met these 3 girls lying down on the pier by the lake. we lay down staring at the stars laughing at every single random thing off the top of our heads...laughing so loud all the guys eventually left.

yen yi's holding her phone with the flash on over our heads, cos the flash wouldn't reach us from where edmund was standing to take the pic and none of us had our cameras with us. so i came up with the brilliant idea to use the flash from her phone to illuminate us. inspired by mr bean.

singapore shopping plans are prolly dashed, cos of the wonderfulness of my parents. but it's okay, i know i'll find a way to make up for the lack(?) of shopping, somehow.

bumped into steph,shujian,waisan,yvonne and some others in the Curve:) after our hellogoodbyes, went back to the hotel.

we were all damn bored waiting!!and then the drums arrived! they bought a brand new drum set just for prom..quite surprising and not a very smart thing to do cos it wasn't seasoned yet. but the drummers had plenty fun seasoning it, no doubt. as usual, i started freaking out. joel and chi do not do a very good job in calming people down.

and my dad is so adamant on not letting me take my undang this year cos he's afraid i might kill myself if i got my drivers licence. ever the reasonable man.
but i don't mind being driven around:)

yesterday was a great monday, as far as mondays go. best monday of the year, actually. Twilight. was the best 2++ hours i've ever spent freezing in a cinema. even though i was laughing 76% of the time. suck on that, critics!
and i'ma go watch it again sometime this week :D
Rob Pattinson just kept getting hotter as the movie played. sitting between jenn and qi means laughing a lot during inappropriate moments. which would mean..the whole movie was inappropriate? but damn funny la lol. espesh Jacob Black! hahahahaha Legolas wannabe. though the moment Edward appeared we laughed like hell. cos he looked so constipated!
the girls behind us..vair amusing. after the movie they were arguing about who Edward Cullen belonged to.

so instead, the girls and i went shoe shopping x)
soons and i got shoes :D:D i love sales.
okay i really need to stop shopping!! i got two tops and earrings when i went out with leanne on sunday too. it's getting addictivee.

oh and i witnessed the most disturbing thing on sunday when i was out with lea. this little boy, 4 or 5 maybe? had his hands under a mannequin's dress and was like totally molesting the mannequin! with sucha fascinated and adorable expression. so cute la. but morbidly disturbing. the kid looked like he knew exactly what he was doing. hahahaha.
we were so bored after shopping and lunch/tea, we actually browsed around a household stuff store. they had nice chairs:)
my house is so gna have awesome artsy modern looking furniture x)

i broke a plate today. and now i'm so irritable. ughh.

yes i actually signed up for camp, and i'm actually going for it. why would i miss going to camp for the first time?:) hahahaha.
i'm fully aware that i hardly sound like myself saying that. but everyone says it's fun. and they've survived. there's still hope yet. not KRS camp obviously. i'm still me! haha.
